It was a case of \"You should have been here yesterday" as the swell dribbled in at 1-2 feet but that didn\'t dampen the enthusiasm of the 32 riders in the Pro draw. Young Tassie charger Charles Ward showed that he can mix it with the best with the best performance of R1. The top 8 seeds hit the water for R2 and the Queenslanders were determined to perform in the cold water after traveling from the other end of the country for the event. Nathan Branch and Mitch Woodland were standouts that fell one place short of the final and Clinton Kettelwell enjoyed a welcome return to the competition arena notching up an =7th. Along with the Rheo Pro the Victorian State titles were contested and some real talent is emerging from the Southern State for this years Nationals. OPEN MEN Adam Morrison 1 SENIOR MENS CHAMPION
