El Confital will decide the 2009 IBA World Tour champions
Monday, 30 November 2009 09:32

El Confital

Being here in Confital is like having tickets to "Rumble in the jungle"... You just know that some heavy hits will go down and history will be made!!

After 11 long months on the road the IBA World Tour is coming down to this.

Five contenders in the Mens bout and three in the Women.

In the red corner it's Neymara V Jessica V Eunate.

And in the white trunks it's Hubb V Hardy V Winny V Stewart V GT

Eight x 20 minutes rounds and then we get into the nitty gritty stuff.

The swell looks like being solid for the first two days then dipping for two before spiking again for the last.

There are over 170 of the worlds best that will battle it out here in Confital and Mike Stewart is hot off a win at Nazare and has the family here for what could be a history making moment.

"Its going to be fun" said Mike. "Lets wait and see how the cards fall".

Tomorrow there will be a check in at the beach between 10am - 2pm.

The crew were busy building the mini surf city today and even though the surf was small, it was still looking very tasty.

Set the alarm and witness one of the greatest shows on surf go down right before your very eye's.

Every bodyboarder on this dirty little circle that we call earth will be with you.

Entry inquiries can be sent to Terry McKenna +61401023661
