2010 IBA Pipeline Pro: bodyboarders are still waiting for the best swell to come

Day two of the 2010 Turbo Bodyboards Pipeline Pro presented by Body Glove has been called a lay day due to poor surf conditions.

With back to back swells forecast for the remainder of the waiting period, organisers are happy to hold off until the waves and wind improve.

"We have several surf forecasters helping us make the call each day and all of the models are indicating that conditions are improving from tomorrow" Said Terry Mckenna, IBA General Manager.

"I would imagine that we will have a start later this week and finish in epic conditions next week".

The waiting period to the 2010 TURBO Bodyboards Pipeline Pro is Tuesday the 16th of February to the 26th.
