Ian Campbell: South African charger

Iain Campbell has claimed the Cape Classic 2014, at The Hoek, in Cape Town, South Africa.

Campbell showed why he is one of the most in-form bodyboarders of the African Continent by stealing both the Pro Men's final against Tristan Roberts, and the Drop-Knee contest against Dylan van Tonder, Terence Pieters and Chris Green.

Roberts straight off the bat, opened up the final with a clean and big backflip, but that wasn't enough for the young prodigy who managed to catch another set wave and bang a big air reverse off the end section.

The 4th Annual ISA World Bodyboard Championship will be run between 8th-15th December, in Iquique, Chile.

Bodyboarding is living the worst year in the history of the sport founded by Tom Morey. After crowning a champion based on the previous year's results, the world governing body canceled the 2014 season, and even suspended its official website.

Meanwhile, the newly formed Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) has managed to keep the planetary circuit running with dignity, despite the absence of events in mainland USA and Australia.

Knights Beach Pro: that will hurt

The Raw Knights Beach Pro 2014 will hit South Australia, between 10th-11th May.

A stellar field is expected to roll up for one of the favorite stops on the tour including the current ratings leader Lachlan Cramsie.

Lachie has been a roll lately, and last year finished runner-up to Knights Beach local Marshall Watson, in an exciting final. Hot off a recent win at the NMD Dbah Pro, Cramsie will look to try go one better in South Australia.
