Kitesurf Tour Europe 2010: vessels included

Celline Collaud from Switzerland and Alberto Rondina from Italy performed best after five successful events throughout the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

76 riders from 11 nations were attending the final stage of the Kitesurf Tour Europe in Swinoujscie. “It was a great pleasure to host the series for the first time and it will be not the last” , Wojciech Gagorowski CEO of Event Factory S.C. said right after the ceremony.

For the final stage, at the long white sandy beach of Swinoujscie, the following riders reached the podium:

Italy’s Alberto Rondina kept his winning streak for the year with a win at this final stop ahead of German Champion Mario Rodwald. Fellow German Stefan Permien finished in third followed by Christophe Tack (18 years old) from Belgium in fourth and Polish rider Marek Rowinski from Kozobrzeg in the south of Poland in fifth.

The difficult conditions with partly offshore and gusty winds obviously favoured the polish female Freestylers. The first three places are from Poland! Warszaw resident Joanna Asia Litwin beat internationally most experienced Polish rider Ania Grzelinska from Wrozlaw who just celebrated her 23rd birthday on Thursday in a close final. Michalina Laskowska from Weadyseawowo kicked out Johara Sykes-Davies from the UK to finish third. So Swinoujscie became a triumph for the Polish ladies.

In Racing Bruno Sroka from France dominated against Bjoern Rune Jensen who had been close on his heals for the year’s rankings. Kathrin Borgwardt took the majority of the wins for the ladies taking the win for the final event.

Here are the results in brief:
