Denmark has joined the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA), the governing body for world kiteboarding. Kiteboarding Denmark (KBDK) is the national association for Danish kitesurfers and will expect Danish events to be included in the planetary IKA contest list.
Securing continued access to kitesurf spots around the Denmark is one of the main priorities of Kiteboarding Denmark. It will be done in collaboration and dialogue with the various conservation authorities and environmental associations.
