Nicholas Thiede: the new KSP World Tour boss

Nicholas Thiede is the new KSP World Tour manager. The German rider replaces Terry McKenna.

Thiede is a passionate kitesurfer and started riding 12 years ago. He will take on his new role as the KSP World Tour manager, from August 1st, 2013.

"I am super excited to contribute to the success of this exceptional tour. Watching the world's top wave riders compete on the KSP World Tour is the best our sport has to offer to me", explains Nicholas Thiede.

"I am looking forward to being part of the team and will be discovering Africa's best wave spots between KSP tour stops for possible future events".

Nicholas Thiede, founder and former CEO of Germany's biggest online seminar platform Semigator, replaces the iconic Terry McKenna.

The KSP World Tour did not explain the reasons behind the replacement and only "thanks Terry McKenna for spear heading the KSP Tour during the past seven months."

"The KSP needs some fresh energy and well-rounded experience in the team. Nicholas brings in a great combination of business skills from his leading roles in various internet businesses as well as an incredible passion for kitesurfing", expresses Kristin Boese, KSP President.
