Skim Jam: skimboarding against cancer

The 5th Annual Skim Jam will hit Houston, on the 21st April 2012. The largest skimboarding competition in the state of Texas will be raising funds for The Rose, a non-profit breast cancer organization.

Isaac Thomas, Blake Zimmerman and Tony Saddler are some of the skimboarders that have been confirmed in the event.

The Annual Skim Jam has always been rad in years past and looks to be bigger and better than ever in 2012. Be sure to make it down to the creek, enter the contest and support a great cause.

Based in Cypress, Texas, Skim 2 Live is a non-profit breast cancer advocate made up high school skimboarders. All money raised in support of Skim 2 Live is put into effect through The Rose Foundation where thousands of patients are able to receive treatment when they can not afford it.

The Flatland Skimboarding Competition is the main attraction at Skim Jam. There will be three separate competitions - Grom (Under 15), amateur and pro competition.
