Austin Keen secured a back-to-back victory at the 2015 Southside Shootout, at Dewey Beach, Delaware.

He couldn't have asked for a better anniversary gift. One day after celebrating his 25th birthday, Keen once again raised the Southside Shootout trophy after beating Dave Bracht in the final.

This means that the United Skim Tour 2015 title is entirely open. Keen started the season with a fifth place in Cabo Clasico, an event won by Juan Carlos Encizo. But a victory in Delaware catapult him in the overall rankings.

Juan Carlos Encizo: riding on his home turf

Juan Carlos Encizo has claimed the Cabo Clasico 2015, at Lover's Beach, in Mexico.

The new skimboarding season is underway. The world's best rider have concluded their training programs, and now it's time to test it all out in the competitive arena. And what a way to start things off.

Lover's Beach delivered perfect conditions for a professional skimboarding contest. It was the first time the United Skim Tour has been held at Lover's since 2008. Hurricane Odile rocked Cabo last fall and changed the sand patterns on the Pacific side.

The 2015 United Skim Tour season will kick off with the Cabo Clasic, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on the 22nd May.

The new season is on. The 2015 United Skim Tour calendar has been released. Basically, nothing changes. There are no dramatic changes, which is good news, after all.

Sam Stinnett will defend his 2014 world title in eight stages. The world skimboarding circuit will, once again, visit the Mexican and Brazilian shore breaks of Cabo San Lucas and Sununga.
