Job position available immediately, based in Zurich, Switzerland. Report to the European General Manager.

The European Operations/Finance Director will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operating activities. He/she will ensure that the business of the company is running well by monitoring the working of various strategic departments.
You are self –motivated, driven, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task as for example:
Operations Missions:
 •Formulate and implement departmental  and organizational policies and procedures including logistics’ ones,
 •Liaise with the outsourced warehouse organization,
 •Control the outsourced warehouse performance,
 •Manage and improve efficiency of services such as IT, Accounts and Logistics,
 •Customer Service - Manage customer support for all the deliveries and warranties procedures and credit management questions,
 •Liaise with the Customer Service to control the customers satisfaction on goods deliveries,
 •Strategic Input - Liaise with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans,
Financial Missions:
 •Plan effective strategies to ensure the financial well-being of the company,
 •Establish the annual budget in conjunction with the European GM,
 •Provide all financial company statements,
 •Year-end closing,
 •SEC reporting,
 •Auditors communication,
 •Human Resources Management,
 •US headquarters information (legal, tax, rules…).
 •Legal documents.
Skills required:
 •8 or more years of professional experience in Operations,
 •Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning,
 •Ability to execute on a number of diverse projects simultaneously; comfort with taking initiative and  giving order of priorities,
 •Solid management skills,
 •Superb verbal and written communications skills,
 •Excellent skills in Microsoft tools and good knowledge in SAP,
 •Strong understanding  of board sports market,
 •Perfectly fluent in English, German and/or French are a plus.
 •Critical thinking and problem solving skills,

Based in our apparel team in Annecy (hautes savoie, France), you are in charge of structuring our sportwear apparel range worldwide. You will use our marketing/communication strategic approach to build your vision in line with business objectives and market needs (distribution, consumers).
 •Definition of product strategy in term of needs, attractiveness, profitability, communication based on competitors analysis
 •Structure, launch and follow products from brief to market introduction
 •Brief and follow tools of business package
 •Definition of qualitative and quantitative objectives of the product offer to fulfill the needs of subsidiaries, and distribution networks
 •Participation into the buying strategy
Profile :
 •Business, marketing education
 •5 years product marketing experience in apparel industry in a multinational company
 •English fluent
 •Good knowledge of apparel products, good feeling of sportswear and merchandising
 •Outdoor enthusiast, mountain is your passion.
