Surfers: The Movie

"Surfers: The Movie" is a classic cult surf film released in 1990.

The movie features a very young Kelly Slater, Tom Curren, Cheyne Horan, Shaun Tomson, Barton Lynch, Tom Carroll, Derek Ho, Sunny Garcia, Johnny Boy Gomez, Martin Potter, Mike Cruickshank, and the legendary King of Malibu, Miki Dora.

"Surfers: The Movie" truly wraps up how surfing looked like in the 1980s. As Sunny Garcia says in the flick, "I like to see people's faces after I beat them."

The flick reveals the bold personalities, the big boards, the twin fin setups, and the deep tube rides that put surfing under the media radar back in the day.

The soundtrack includes music from Neil Young, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and U2.

Directed by Bill Delaney.
