Eppo's Freak Show

"Eppo's Freakshow" movie came out in the summer of 1993, following up on Eppo's world title success.

After winning the crown in January, Eppo spent the next six months filming with photographer Chris Stroh and during that time, he invented two new moves that changed the course of bodyboarding.

Eppo started the gymnastic era when he introduced the air roll spin and backflip moves. Eppo was arguably the father of modern bodyboarding.

His progressive style introduced maneuvers such as the ARS, double roll and backflip in the 1990s and became the first Aussie to earn a world title.
