Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen was born on the 20th July, 1980, in Rio Grande do Sul.
She was the highest paid model in the world in 2012-2013, for the seventh consecutive year, with $42 million in earnings, according to Forbes' Highest-Paid Models in The World.
Bündechen started her modeling career as a teenager and has since become a favorite of brands, photographers and fashion editors.
The famous model also had a short experience in acting, with a supporting role in the movie Taxi, in 2004.
Besides her huge success in the fashion world, she is also known as a humanitarian, supporting several charities, and environmentalist, having been named goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme.
Gisele Bündchen was seen windsurfing in St. Barths in 2006, and has recently been spotted paddle boarding in the Bahamas.
