A journey of passion and true love for the surfing life. This is what best describes the third anniversary of SurferToday.com. As many of you have noticed, SurferToday.com has been leading thousands of queries on surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and bodyboarding, in the main internet search engines.
I've done it with a great enthusiasm and a lot of try/fail experiments. I've been surfing for 20 years and I thought it was great way to give back to the community the pleasure I've been having in wave sports.
SurferToday.com kicked off by selecting the best news sources in the world and it managed to get incredible contacts in the wave sports industry. The initial idea was very different from what is SurferToday.com, nowadays.
Still, there are many things to be upgraded and this is never an ended process. A few surprises are being cooked for 2011. Stay tuned.
Hundreds of passionate surfers follow us through the RSS Feeds, Twitter and the Facebook. Many other sites simply decided to copy our original articles and content, without permission, without quoting and linking the original source. But that's life.
I'll keep improving. Step by step and still with the only support of the Adsense surfing ads. And a lot of advertisers have joined SurferToday.com through this tool for communication brands which is quite remarkable. One final word for a great company working with our IT systems: it's called TQuadrado and has been doing an incredible engineering job.
Between 2009 and 2010, SurferToday.com has grown 100%. And my commitment for the next 365 days is exactly that one: to improve the quality of content by 100%. Thank you very much for your preference, dear reader.
Keep in touch.
