The 2011 Volcom Pipe Pro is finally on. A steady NW swell and light trade winds will kick off hostilities in Banzai Pipeline, Hawaii.
The surf is pumping and the organizers have decided to run the $120,000 contest. The 2011 Volcom Pipe Pro is a 5-star ASP sanctioned event.
Kalani Chapman has won the 2011 Volcom Wildcard Challenge. He was voted best surfer by Pipeline legends Gerry Lopez, Derek and Michael Ho. Chapman will jump into the Round of 64.
