Last Paradise: a remarkable surf movie

The 2011 New York Surf Film Festival (NYSFF) will showcase 17 Feature films and 21 Short Films from all continents, in this year's official selection, from September 15th to 17th.

BoardHeads (by Davo Weiss), Bono (by Maxence Peyras), Caught Inside (by Adam Blaiklock), Come Hell or Highwater (by Keith Malloy), First Love (by Claire Gorman), La Ruta Del Mojado (by Jose Guillermo Morales Ferulli), Last Paradise (by Clive Neeson), Lost Atlas (by Kai Neville), Lost and Found (by Doug Walker), Manufacturing Stoke (by Pierce Michael Kavanagh), Rumors (by Mark Kronemeyer), Runman 69 (by Raymond Kleiman), Sofia (by Peter Goetz), Splinters (by Adam Pesce), Thirty Thousand (by Richard James and Andrew James), Way of the Ocean (by Matt Kleiner) and Year Zero (by Joe G) are the selected surf movies.

The "Not So Short Shorts" Program include Capture: A Wave Documentary (by Hyde Harper and Smriti Keshari), Chasing the Swell (by Sachi Cunningham), Down with the Ship (by Derek Dunfee), High 5 (by Chris Cote and Jerry Ricciotti), Now (by Riley Blakeway) and Sion (by Ryan Thomas).

The 2011 New York Surf Film Festivals Official Short Films Program will screen 2011 D DAY, I am Andy Irons, IceBoard, Kai ‘e’e’Makani, La Ruta Norte, Leave a Message, Longest Left Chicama - Peru, Lunch Break, Project Kaisei, Smiling Spot, Surfers Journal POV: Runman, Surfers Journal POV: Another Day in the Life of Wayne Lynch, Surfers Journal POV: Stripped, Surfers Way and THOM: A Portrait of Modern Youth.

The New York Surf Film Festival is an event consisting of three days of screenings of independent short and feature films, cult classics, and world premieres from established surf filmmakers.
