Point Break: Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze sharing the stoke of surfing

It's a cult movie and one of the first Hollywood productions to feature big wave surfing. The original "Point Break" was released in 1991 but stood the test of time.

For many movie fans, "Point Break" is one of the best surf-inspired action films of all time.

The film had it all - an irresistible blend of FBI agents and surf gang-style bank robbers hidden behind former US presidents' masks.

Film director Kathryn Bigelow helped create a classic action-packed thriller movie in which the law enforcer and the criminal slowly develop a close relationship throughout the film.

Despite initial mixed reviews, Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze formed one of the most popular hero/anti-hero duos in cinema history.

The 122-minute movie made $83 million at the box office, and by the late 1990s, it had already become an instant classic.

The blockbuster was produced by screenwriter Peter Iliff.
