Vasco Ribeiro has conquered the Gran Canaria Santa Pro Junior, at Playa de la Cicer, Las Palmas. The defending champion re-claimed his crown today in fantastic fashion, dominating the final against Vicente Romero from Spain. Winners have been crowned at the O'Neill Kiteboard World Cup 2012, with winds blowing at 15-17 knots from the NNE direction, in the final day of competition. New Zealand windsurfing legend Bruce Kendall has thrown a torch into the US Sailing regatta field, after the North American officials voted for kiteboarding in the 2016 Olympic Games. Kai Lenny has successfuly completed the cross of the Lake Michigan, in USA, in two hours and 30 minutes. The 19-year old waterman windsurfed, from shore to shore, starting at Sturgeon Bay and landing in Frankfort. Lenny is the first windsurfer to sail from the west to east coast of Lake Michigan.
