Puerto Cancun, in Mexico, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the World Wakeboard Association (WWA) with the most elite contest of the 2014 season, between October 3rd-5th.
The WWA Wakeboard World Ranking will be used to determine the top 15 pro men's and top 8 pro women's riders pre-qualified to the Cancun Pro. The Mexican debut will be pulled by the 2015 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV.
"We are using the same boat that I have on my dock at home, and this boat delivers! I can't wait to see what goes down from the best riders in the world, because the wake will be dialed," explains Brian Grubb, the driver for the Cancun Pro.
The World Wakeboard Association was founded in 1989. The Cancun Pro is the pinnacle of the extensive history of the WWA and promises to set a new standard in wakeboarding contests.
All wakeboarders will have an all-access pass to the event with luxury accommodations, lively social hours and a first-class awards banquet. Perfect water conditions and huge wakes are also guaranteed.
