Daniel Grant stood out in the final stop of the 2013 WWA Wake Park World Series, held at the legendary Thai Wake Park in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 2013 WWA Wake Park World Series is over, after six insane stops in five different countries.
Riders Daniel Grant, San Im and Ken Tackmarn call Thai Wake Park home and they were ready to show the 2,000 spectators all their talent and skills.
One unreal new feature was also added to the park as a concrete base structure, with two separate kickers leading to three different rails. The combo options were endless and the new feature proved to be both challenging and entertaining.
In the traditional Pro Men's division, finals went down in perfect Thailand conditions, and being no stranger to the Thai Wake Park, Daniel Grant took home the victory by linking tricks in a fashion that no other rider could accomplish.
Tom Fooshee and San Im also put together awesome runs, but just fell short to Grant.
Pro Men's Features only division proved to be a heated battle from the qualifying round all the way to the podium. After each of the 9-minute jam format heats were finished, it was Steffen Vollert, Aaron Gunn, Daniel Grant and Tom Fooshee that would make it to the 4-man final.
Pro Features finals would be the highlighted event of the evening, riders ripping around one of the best wake parks in the world for nine minutes while pushing themselves to perform the most progressive tricks possible, and sometimes impossible, is an event that will always be amazing to experience.
With home park advantage, Daniel Grant was able to walk away with the victory, winning every single section of scoring, while Tom Fooshee, Aaron Gunn, and Steffen Vollert kept the remaining podium places.
The 2013 WWA Wake Park World Series Pro Men overall champion is Tom Fooshee.
