Lake Tye: waking up the green fields

Phil Soven has won the Monroe stage of the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour 2014, at Lake Tye.

The third event of the Pro Tour forced Soven to beat top players in the wake business such as Rusty Malinoski, Shota Tezuka, Danny Harf, Steel Lafferty and Harley Clifford.

In the end, Phil displayed huge airs coupled with super stylish rail riding and flawless technical maneuvers. It could only be his day.

Red Bull Harbour Reach: cast iron, brick, stones and airs | Photo: Red Bull

Twenty of the world's best wakeboarders will travel to Liverpool for the 2014 Red Bull Harbour Reach.

On the 30th August, James Windsor, Raphael Derome, Nick Davies, Nico Von Lerchenfiel, and many more riders will test the purpose-built wake course installed at Albert Dock.

Judges will be looking for agility, technical abilities, and huge tricks inspired by Liverpool's industrial heritage.

Citroën Wake the Stadium 2014: Helsinki gets radical

The Citroën Wake the Stadium 2014 was the first ever wakeboarding competition at Uimastadion, in Helsinki, Finland.

Who said an Olympic swimming pool couldn't host a wakeboarding contest? The Wake the Stadium 2014 transformed the Uimastadion into a freestyle playground, with ramps and rails for creative riders.

Madis Bachmann stole the show and the prize money. He was followed by Daniel Matsukevits, Martin Bachmann, Ken Ekblom Johanson, and Ruben Snabb.
