Daniel Grant and Aaron Gunn secured the overall titles at the 2014 WWA Wake Park World Series (WPWS), after the Thailand stage, one of the most fun and progressive cable parks on the globe.
The level of riding during the 2014 WWA Wake Park World Series has been mind-boggling. Progression of not only technical tricks, but also rewind-based rail and kicker tricks have set a new precedent in cable wakeboarding. The Thai Wake Park, in Bangkok, displayed tons of advanced new features in the lake for the ultimate showdown.
Grant, playing in home waters, was the favorite rider, but no one would have guessed he would sweep all three divisions, and take the Pro Men's overall title.

A professional wakeboarder has been towed by a Ferrari F50, in the United Kingdom.
They knew they were infringing the law. When a one-million pound Ferrari gets into water sports, we know we don't live in a rational world. Well, but it sounds quite thrilling too.
Jorge Gill, a British wakeboarder, was pulled by a rare yellow Ferrari F50 at 135 kilometers per hour (84 miles per hour), in Maud Foster Drain, a canal that runs in Lincolnshire.

Aaron Gunn, Daniel Grant and Julia Rick have taken out the 2014 WWA Wake Park World Championships, in Abu Dhabi.
Wake riders from 26 countries competed for world titles at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort. The lake attracted those wanting to push the limits of wakeboarding.
The Pro Women's final had five of the best riders in the world battling hard for top honors. Julia Rick showed her 720s to claim the highest trophy.
