Augusto Garcia (ESP-171) was the big winner of the 2010 Conquilha Windsurfing Challenge. The event took place at the Centro Náutico da Praia de Faro, in Algarve, Portugal. Garcia took over Pedro Alonzo (ESP-1), second place, another Spanish sailor. In the lowest place of the podium, Pedro Moura (POR-112) surprised with an excellent performance. With an unique format in Portugal, this event included athletes with competitive experience, as well as athletes who have taken this opportunity to make their debut. The fact that Faro Conquilha.com Windsurf Challenge 2010 meet both competitive and amateur athletes provided a fantastic spirit that will surely stand in the memory of all participants. The wind blew from south, between 14 and 16 knots, providing ideal conditions for windsurfers. Final Standings: 1º Augusto Garcia ESP-171
