Starboard has launched a special website for those wishing to begin their sailing adventures on a windsurf board. Start-windsurfing.com gathers information for the first experiences with wind and a sail
There's a directory of windsurf schools and clubs, a forum for sharing ideas, information on how to prepare and rig a board/sail and a board finder for those seeking the perfect gear for a determined level of experience.
"We believe that our sport can only be successful if windsurfing is just as accessible as it is fun to do", says Starboard.
The windsurfing brand will be releasing other instructions, tips and updates in the next months. You can register to get their ideas and improve your windsurfing skills.
SurferToday.com has already published an article on "How to windsurf in two hours". You can find it here.
