Florian Jung is the first man ever to windsurf in the Alaskan cold waters. The pro athlete was accompanied by a marine biologist and experienced winds and water temperatures below zero degree Celsius. Jung tested the windsurfing conditions near the Chenega Glacier (located in Prince William Sound, Kenai Peninsula, USA), a very unstable ice rock. Because of the low temperatures, Florian Jung wore a special neoprene wetsuit. He is sponsored by HiFly, Fiat, Gun Sails, Dakine and Surf Action. Check his website, HERE. |
