Christopher Friis will be holding a "Talent Academy" initiative aiming to teach young windsurfers aged 13-22 years, the mechanisms of modern day sponsorships and professional sportsmanship.
The "Talent Academy" will from from the 30th of June to the 4th of July in El Medano, Tenerife. Friis will also spend some time on the water sharing his skills and tips.
"Whether you want to push yourself past the fear of rotating through your first forward loop or you just need that last bit of advice to get the landing right in your pushloops", says Christopher Friis.
"Maybe your bottomturn needs a bit of work or you want to start training the rotation and timing of doing a wave 360. There is always some aspect of your sailing that can be improved and that is what we are going to work full power with all week", Friis adds.
The windsurfing clinic will work with video footage, so that everyone can improve their sailing and correct mistakes, step by step.
El Medano is a small chilled out town in the south of Tenerife which is famous for its great conditions for windsurfing. In the summer the town is full of windsurfers from all over the world.
South Bay, Habour Wall and Cabezo are the main local windsurf spots.
