Israel, Russia and Italy have controlled the Techno 293 Youth World Championships 2013, at Sopot, Poland.
Four races were sailed over the final two days to complete a full series of 12 races in all divisions.
Ofek Elmeleh put in a dominant performance in the Under 17 Boys division to take the title with a massive 26 point margin from second placed Rafeek Kikabhoy from Hong Kong.
"I do not believe that I am the champion. It is an amazing experience. In the last World Championships, I was the fifth. I trained very hard for two years. It's a great feeling", said Ofek.
Stefania Elfutina was very pleased with her victory in the Under 17 Girls category, leaving Ching Ma Kwan and Emma Wilson in the second and third positions.
"It was close... I'm happy, but it was hard to beat the competitor from Hong Kong and the UK", said the Stefania Elfutina, from Russia.
Yoav Cohen, from Israel, took the Under 15 Boys division title, while Giorgia Speciale, from Italy, secured gold in the Under 15 Girls category.
