Jérémy Arnoux: you can't get him out of the barrel

The Annaëlle Challenge 2014 will be run in the best possible conditions between September 1st and December 1st.

The specialty event is held in an uninhabited, small French island, under the supervision of the Association of Professional Bodyboarding (APB).

The slab pumps fast, hollow barrels that may well reach seven feet, off the coast of Nord-Finistère. Sixteen bodyboarders are invited to join the competition, and two come from the Trials.

Last year, Jérémy Arnoux, a rider from Bayonne, stole the show. In 2012, Alex Uranga sealed the deal with a big barrel, followed by a backflip.

For two days, the Annaëlle Challenge 2014, will display high-quality 30-minute heats, in one of the best bodyboarding spots France has to offer.
