After 8 years without receiving a world tour bodyboarding event, Brazil accomplished with great success in last March the Katherine Melo Bodyboarding Pro.

Now, the best bodyboarders around the globe prepare themselves to compete on the 4th IBA World Tour event to be held at Costa Azul beach in Rio das Ostras, from 24h to 27th July.

The event will distribute $30.000 dollars ($20.000 men and $10.000 women) and 1.000 in the IBA World Tour ranking.

The city of Rio das Ostras is located two hour drive from Rio de Janeiro. Today, the city is known for being Brazil's bodyboarding capital, due to number of well structured events that take place since 2001.
