Pierre-Louis Costes: riding 10-second barrels that end like this

Pierre-Louis Costes is never quiet. The backflip master visited and surfed Japan, and he is very much impressed with what he saw.

"Never in my life, I thought I would score this kind of waves in Japan. It has exceeded my expectations, with some of the best waves I had in Asia," Costes revealed.

The former world bodyboarding lives in Portugal, but he is always traveling and chasing world-class waves. His free surfing spirit is as intense and curious as his competitive vein.

"This was shot during 'The Passing Through' project. We went to Japan to shoot a section for the movie with Dallas Singer and Tom Rigby. Needless to say, our expectations were greatly exceeded."

The video was shot by James Kates, from our friends at Le Boogie Magazine. The footage proves you don't need much to put the Frenchman in high-performance mode, and scoring 10-second barrels.
