The 2015 Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) World Tour will feature 14 stages, including Teahupoo, Nazaré and Maldives.

The 2015 APB World Tour schedule is out. There are seven 5-star events (Arica, Itacoatiara, New South Wales, Maldives, Nazaré, Teahupoo, and Middles Beach), five 4-star contests (Bahia, Vario, Sintra, South Africa, and a Brazilian beach), a 3-star event (Chile), and a 2-star competition (Isla Margarita).

The world bodyboarding circuit will kick off on the 8th May, 2015, with the Arica Chilean Challenge. However, the APB World Tour notes "events will be confirmed three months prior to their start date."

According to the organization led by Alex Leon, "the Pipeline event will not be going ahead in 2015 due to issues in Hawaii involving event permit issuance and external event promoters. The APB chooses not to go into further detail regarding this topic."

After the double Chilean tests, the APB World Tour travels to Brazil for a couple of events. Panama makes its debut in June, a few weeks before the Shark Island contest.

In August, the world's best bodyboarders head to Towns, in the Maldives. September is the Portuguese month, with clashes in the classic waves of Praia Grande, and big wave tests at Praia do Norte, in Nazare.

The riders will then travel to "The End of The Road" to catch the Teahupoo bombs. The final and decisive events are scheduled to Venezuela, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.

"I am amped and excited for APB tour next year! I know that with these new locations, the riders on tour will take bodyboarding to a new level and bodyboarding will be showcased to its fullest potential," underlines Jacob Romero, the 2014 Hawaiian Tour champion.

The 2015 APB World Tour will also feature a Women's, Drop-Knee, and Junior divisions. The Annaelle Challenge will be a Specialty Event.
