The Australian Bodyboard Association (ABA) has released the schedule for the 2015 ABA Tour.

The 2015 ABA Tour will be run in four stages. The peak management body for bodyboarding across Australia believes that the success of last year's wedgy venues should be considered.

Therefore, the official Australian pro bodyboarding circuit will return to Mandurah, Duranbah, Knights and Mystics in wintertime.

"The tour has four major new developments this year. Following our successful first year we felt the time was right to expand our activities a little more," reveals ABA.

"We can confirm that we will be running a Pro Junior, a Women's Pro and a Drop-Knee division this year, as well as the Men's Pro division. We will also be running training and mentoring sessions for youth interested in bodyboarding in selected locations."

The newly-created Pro Junior division is open to all bodyboarders from 16 years to 21 years, belonging to a local club. The Women's competition will run in all locations, and Drop-Knee participants will surf in, at least, three locations dependent on the number of submissions.

2015 ABA Tour | Schedule

Good Earth Pro Mandurah | March 20th-22nd
NMD Pro Dbah | April 10th-12th
Knights Pro | May 22nd-24th
Pride Pro Mystics | June 19th-21st

In 2005, Pepsi defied the surfing community by releasing a commercial in which famous soccer stars break the surfers-only beach rule implemented by a group of local wave riders.
