2009 IBA World Tour is finished at El Confital

Jeff Hubbard has conquered the 2009 IBA World Tour title, at El Confital Beach, Canary Islands, Spain.

The Hawaiian bodyboarder - who depended on third party scores - got over Mike Stewart in the last moments.

Dave Winchester and Guilherme Tâmega were also fighting for the world bodyboard title, but Jeff Hubbard was able to achieve the highest honour. The last stage was won by Spanish rider Diego Cabrera.

Also, the Brazilian Neymara Carvalho got the ladies world title, after a Portuguese win at El Confital achieved by Isabela Sousa against Jessica Becker.

The 2009 IBA World Tour is over.

The Golden State boasts more than 1,000 miles of coastline, as well as some of the world's best surf breaks. And the Ventura County Coast is one of the original birthplaces of California surf culture.
