IBA Arica, Chile

Today was the last free surf day before the opening window for the 5th IBA world tour event with all the top riders already in Arica, Chile.

The competitors warming up had a heavy training day at El Gringo, the spot where the competition will take place.

The waves were awesome, constantly pumping all the morning, with super heavy tubes.

Today was the final day for the riders check in. The Brazilians are in force at the event, with over 17 competitors in the draw.

There is a strong swell forecast for this Friday and the first round might happen.

All riders must attend the check in at 7:15 at El Gringo. Later today we will post all the seedings and heats.
