SCBC: bodyboarders blessed by the sun

SCBC "Loud Shirt Day" club competition will be held on Saturday 8th May 2010. The meeting will be at Sunshine Beach, SLSC, 7am for sign on.

Loud Shirt Day is an annual appeal of an Australian Alliance of five organisations who are dedicated to teaching deaf and hearing impaired children to listen and speak with clear natural spoken language like their hearing peers.

These early intervention programs are available to babies and children throughout Australia.

Loud Shirt Day is usually held on Friday 14 May 2010, but SCBC are holding their day in conjunction with Sunshine Beach club event. A gold coin donation is welcome even if you don’t have a Loud Shirt on!

This is one day a year where everyone can go crazy and commit some serious fashion crimes by stepping out in their loudest, brightest shirts. You’ll have a whole lot of fun and also be helping give deaf children their First Voice!

Event will hit the water at approx 7:30am.

Prize’s for those with the loudest shirt!
Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible, read below for more information.
