Paulo Barcellos: in great shape

The third day of Bahia Bodyboarding Show saw the top-16 debuting on Armacao Beach. Riders like Hugo Pinheiro, Paulo Barcellos, Eder Luciano, Luis Villar, Manuel Centeno and Gastrao Entrudo had a great show to crowd and advanced to round 4.

All of them are fighting for better positions on IBA World Ranking and know that a good result in Bahia could be essential to the next season. “I’m looking for good results here and Confital”, said Paulo Barcellos. “I’m very close of top-16 and I Know that a good result here can help me a lot”.

Hugo Pinheiro also had a great performance and move to next round. “It’s always very difficult compete here in Brazil. There are so many good riders and it’s necessary to keep focus to advanced on heats”, said the Portuguese.

The best rider of these Thursday was Israel Salas from Bahia. The competitor got 8,67 and 7,33 to combine 16,00 out of a possible of 20. On girls event the Marina Taylor had the best scores. With 14,00 the world Champion move to round 4.

“On this kind of conditions we need to stay relax and waiting for the best waves”, explain Marina. Next call will happen this thursday at 09:00 (local time).
