Manuel Centeno: surviving the Brazilian girls

The fourth day of Bahia Bodyboarding Show defined the quarter finals of girls and men event. Tomorrow, the champions will be crowned and the last day promises great heats.

The highlight of today was the battle between Luis Villar and Israel Salas, both from Brazil. In a great heat Luis Villar won the dispute with a 8,50 and 7,17. “I started the heat with a good wave but Israel got a 8,5. I wait the best one and got a huge session to score my best wave. I stoked to win this heat and move to quarter finals”, said Luis.

Manuel Centeno is the only non Brazilian that will compete on Saturday. The Portuguese had a good performance and won his heat against Marcelo Freitas.

The girls also had a great show to crowd that was on Armacao Beach. Eunate Aguirre won a very difficult heat against Akiko Sato from Japan and move to quarter finals. “I’m very happy with this result. The heat was dificult. I Love Brazil, the people are so nice and everything is work ok here”, said Eunate that is the currently Champion of Bahia Bodyboarding Show.

Natasha Sagardia had the girls best performance today. On this Saturday Natasha has a difficult heat against Neymara Carvalho. Isabela Sousa and Karla Costa also moved to quarter finals and will fight for the title.
