Pipeline: perfect left-hander on offer

The King of Pipe Expression Session will see Mike Stewart, Jamie O'Brien, Jeff Hubbard, Kainoa McGee and Mark Cunningham riding for glory at Pipeline, Hawaii.

The International Bodyboarding Association (IBA) announced an innovative contest in which wave riders from many disciplines take on a 10-foot plus NW swell, at Pipeline.

Bodyboarders, surfers, standup paddleboarders and bodysurfers will participate in a 40-minute Expression Session, on March 1st, to crown the King of Pipe.

Mike Stewart and Jeff Hubbard will be representing the bodyboarding discipline. Jamie O'Brien is one of the most famous Pipeline surfers.

Kainoa McGee will be taking the standup paddleboard (SUP), as an all-round waterman. Mark Cunningham is considered the most famous bodysurfer in the world and a true master at surfing Pipeline.

It was the year of the first soft landing on the Moon. In 1966, "Peanuts" went surfing. And skateboarding. Or at least, they tried to ride a few waves through mind surfing.
