South Africa: great waves, great riders

The Kumba West Coast Classic 2013 is hitting the waves of the West Coast of South Africa, between 28th March and 1st April, in Lamberts Bay.

Huge ramps and crazy barrels will be part of the South African Bodyboarding Association (SABA) National Tour, anywhere between Bones, Farmer Burgers, Famous or Yo-Yo's.

The Kumba West Coast Classic 2013 will be supported by Kumba Iron Ore/Anglo American, Reef South Africa, Stealth Bodyboards, Coca-Cola, Stomp wax and SeventyOne Percent suncream.

The organizers are planning bodyboard development clinics to attract the surrounding community and grow the sport.

The iconic bodyboarding event will set up by the Boland Bodyboarding Association.

Now more than ever, surfers have a great responsibility on the shoulders. Here's what makes a complete, contemporary wave rider.
