Bodyboard judges: the new generation of Queensland

Surfing Queensland has inducted 25 new bodyboarding judges.

Good bodyboarding judges are important to keep the truth and justice in the sport. The current talented pool of Queensland judges has been increased with a new generation of scoring masters.

"Seeing such a large turnout of fresh young judges is such a positive sign. It puts the sport of bodyboarding in Queensland in a really good position for future growth", underlines Danny Bycroft, Queensland Head judge and IBA World Tour judge.

"During this level 0 course, we constantly reminded our future judges that quality judging is the cornerstone to quality competitive bodyboarding. Let's hope that this new generation of trained and professional judges will help Queensland to bring home future Australian titles and produce our first Queensland born and bred world champion", added Bycroft.

Surfing NSW will also be running a judging course, during the NSW State Bodyboarding Titles, at Soldiers Beach, in April 2013.

Waves are constantly breaking all over the world, and if you're on a surf trip or family vacations it's always good to know you can rent a surfboard anywhere there's a gem to be ridden.
