The Itacoatiara Pro 2013 has reached the Quarterfinals with only two top seeds - Jeff Hubbard and Amaury Lavernhe.

With Round 3 and 4 in the water, Dave Winchester achieved a score of 17,21, the best combined score of the entire event. The Brazilian Uri Valadão got the best wave of the day. After a deep barrel, the former world champion scored a 9.25 to move forward into Round 4.

Very focused and with his particular ritual before competing, Ben Player stepped away from the crowds, put his earphones on and set himself up to concentrate and prepare for an important heat.

It paid off as he advanced to Round 4. Amaury Lavernhe and Jeff Hubbard both following right on his tail for the world title.

With the high tide coming in the conditions became better with all the riders giving the crowd a great show with aerial maneuvers and deep barrels.

The South African Iain Cambpell opened the elimination one on one round with an outstanding performance achieving a 16.33 out of a possible 20.00.

In Round 4, the Brazilian Eder Luciano eliminated Ben Player. "My main goal here is upgrade my ranking and I know I can go further in the Itacoatiara Pro. I am stoked with my result and I want to Improve more and more", said Eder.
