Forster Tuncurry Bodyboard Association: hitting the lip with both feet

Kallan Bragg has claimed the first round of the Forster Tuncurry Bodyboard Association (FTBA) 2014 Tour, in Australia.

Perfect waves, transparent barrels and sunny skies. The FTBA Tour is on, and six divisions were sent to the water: A, AA, Masters, Women, Drop-Knee and Open.

As the early rounds were concluded, the organization decided to run the competition in two banks. The finals saw winds and lulls playing their game in the bodyboarding contest.

Kobi Simon stole the A category, Frances Hazar took the Women's title, and Logan Morgan dominated the AA final. In the Drop-Knee competition, Adam Cheers found a lip to hit to get the trophy home.

The Open final saw Josh Smith going to the skies and impressing the judges. Will Kennedy's tight pocket spins kept him in contention, till Kallan Bragg posted 8-point scores across the board, with long barrels and clean inverts.
