The bodyboarding adventures of Cade Sharp will come to life in the form of "Stoked And Broke," an episode series released by Funkshen Bodyboards.
Australia is a large country surrounded by swells coming from all angles.
As a result, an Australian rider has a lot of work to do on home turf, before embarking on international ventures.
Cade Sharp had a pragmatic approach. He and his friend bought a bus and a dog and went on to explore the surfing diversity of his country.
"Stoked And Broke" was filmed by Grace Charlton and Michael Jennings.
"Doing a trip like this is something I’ve wanted to do my whole life. Australia is in my eyes probably the best country in the world and most of us have never explored around it, we all jet off elsewhere," explains Sharp.
The first episode of the "Stoked And Broke" Tour "emphasized more on the 'stoked' part when we had money saved and were living the high life chasing waves, eating out, wine tours, sightseeing, and petrol was nothing."
However, Sharp promises that the next episode will focus on the "broke" side of life, which means that he ran out of money, and had to hunt for work, cheap eats, hot showers, and local spots and waves.
Funkshen Bodyboards is an Australian bodyboarding company founded in 2000 and based in Knox City, Victoria.
The riders' team includes Joe Clarke, Chase O’Leary, and Cade Sharp.
