Eddie Solomon Memorial Paddle Out: connecting two worlds

More than 100 bodyboarders and surfers showed up in the emotional Eddie Solomon memorial paddle out, at Salt Creek in Dana Point, California. It was quite a moment to watch so many riders giving their prayers together.

The weather conditions helped a spiritual connection with Eddie. The clouds and occasional rays of sun got together to bring the message from the giant circle of bodyboarders formed out in the water up to the skies.

Eddie Solomon, the fearless wave rider from California, is certainly happy. His friends and family will forever remember him for the great person he was.

The memorial paddle out gathered young and old riders, as well as men and women. After the circular tribute, all wave riders enjoyed a few party waves. It was fun to watch.

There were beginners and experienced bodyboarders sharing waves and there's even a rider standing up and riding a wave in a bodyboard. The spirit of Eddie Solomon will be around forever.
