Tristan Roberts dominated the second day of competition at the 2016 Sintra Portugal Pro, in Sintra. The Atlantic Ocean keeps pumping massive six-foot walls of water.

The South African bodyboarder won his Round 2 and 3 heats and claimed the highest heat total of the contest so far. Roberts, 19, hails from Onrus, near Cape Town, and is looking forward to securing a good result in Portugal.

"We all compete and dream to be champions. That is my dream, and I hope to fulfill it this year, to be world champion," expressed Tristan Roberts, who now advances directly to Round 5.

Iain Campbell, Jared Houston, Jacob Romero, Kevin Torres, Alan Munoz, Alex Uranga, and Maxime Castillo have all won their Round 3 heats. Surprisingly, or maybe not, riders like Pierre-Louis Costes, Amaury Lavernhe, and Dave Hubbard failed to impose their superiority, and will surf the repechage round.

In the Pro Junior division, four Portuguese bodyboarders made it to the semifinals. André Rodrigues, Miguel Ferreira, Nuno Cintra, and Tomás Rosado will challenge the likes of Tanner McDaniel and Sócrates Santana.
