Jair Bolsonaro used a bodyboard as a table for microphones during the first press conference since he was elected president of Brazil.
The new president-elect transformed a blue and green, reversed rocker Tribord boogie board into a pulpit for his first meeting with some members of the press.
However, Bolsonaro and his team did not allow the presence of the leading national media outlets O Globo, Valor, Folha and Estado de S.Paulo.

On October 27, 2018, Brazilians decided to elect Jair Messias Bolsonaro, a far-right congressman, as the new president of Brazil.
Bolsonaro beat his opponent, Fernando Haddad of the left-wing Workers' Party, with 55 percent of the vote. The former army captain will rule Brazil for the next four years.

He opposes the rights of LGBT minorities and women, same-sex marriage, abortion, immigration, supports the former military dictatorship that rules Brazil between 1964 and 1985, birth control for low-income families, and the liberalization of gun access.
