Jérémy Arnoux: claiming the Annaelle Challenge

Jérémy Arnoux has conquered the 2013 Annaelle Challenge, an IBA Speciality Event held off the coast of Finistère, France.

The uninhabited, small French island produces some of the best bodyboarding waves in the country. The competition got underway in two days, with waves reaching seven feet.

Alex Uranga, the defending champion from the Basque Country who pulled a big backflip in the final heat, finished the 2013 Annaelle Challenge in second place.

Jérémy Arnoux, a rider from Bayonne, managed to leave the trophy in French soil, while Erwan Genre and Borja Gainzarain kept in third and fourth places.

The 2013 Annaelle Challenge was organized by the Tomahawk Bodyboard Surf Club.
