Mitch Rawlins: Australian bodyboarding jewel

The 2012 Rebel Sport Pro Tour is going right down to the wire. The best bodyboarders in Australia will battle for crowns, at Kiama.

The Rebel Sport Pro will decide the Australian bodyboarding champions and the race is heated up.

There's a bodyboarder from Queensland looking forward to win this year's trophy. Mitch Rawlins is getting focused for a decisive competition.

"I am pumped for Kiama. The wedge is a great wave and I would be stoked to take the title there", said Mitch.

Charlie Holt, Jake Stone, Jones Russell and Michael Novy are right behind Rawlins and there are many places to be confirmed, still.

Some of the IBA World Tour GQS competitors will also be looking for a good result to add to their equation in an attempt to qualify for the 2013 IBA Grand Slam Series.

Riders' best two GQS results will be combined with the best two GSS Trials and National Tour rankings to attain a final 2012 Global Qualifying Series ranking.
