The Nazaré Pro will crown the 2018 APB World Tour champions.

The final waves of the professional bodyboarding season are about to be ridden at Praia do Norte, Portugal's most famous big wave beach break.

Sammy Morretino and Armide Soliveres are already celebrating their world titles in the drop-knee and pro junior categories, respectively, but there's still too much at stake in the men's and women's divisions.

The men's world title race features four riders: Iain Campbell, Pierre-Louis Costes, Jared Houston, and Tanner McDaniel. These are the possible world title scenarios:

1. If Iain Campbell wins the Nazaré Pro, he clinches the 2018 APB World Tour title;
2. If Iain Campbell finishes second, and PLC wins the event, there will be a surf-off between the two;
3. If Iain Campbell finishes second, and McDaniel wins the contest, the Hawaiian wins the 2018 APB World Tour title;
4. If Iain Campbell finishes third, and Houston wins the event, there will be a surf-off between the two;
5. If Iain Campbell finishes third, and PLC wins the competition, the French conquers the world title;
6. If Iain Campbell finishes third, and McDaniel wins the event, the Hawaiian wins the 2018 APB World Tour title;
7. If PLC wins the Nazaré Pro, and Campbell misses the final, the French will claim the world title;

On the women's side, the world title race is looking exciting. Four bodyboarders are still in contention: Ayaka Suzuki, Isabela Sousa, Joana Schenker, and Alexandra Rinder. The world title scenarios go as follows:

1. If Ayaka Suzuki wins the Nazaré Pro, she claims the 2018 APB World Tour title;
2. If Ayaka Suzuki finishes second, and Isabela Sousa doesn't make the final, there will be a surf-off between the two;
3. If Isabela Sousa wins the contest, she clinches the world title;
4. If Isabela Sousa finishes second, and Suzuki doesn't win, she wins the world title;
5. If Isabela Sousa finishes third, and Suzuki doesn't win, there will be a surf-off between the two;
6. If Joana Schenker wins the Nazaré Pro, and Sousa doesn't reach the final, there will be a surf-off between the two;
7. If Alexandra Rinder wins the competition, Suzuki loses in the semifinals, Sousa loses in the quarterfinals, and Joana doesn't win the event, she conquers the 2018 APB World Tour title;
