The Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) released the full calendar for the 2019 APB World Tour season.

The biggest surprise is the inclusion of the queen of all waves in the official list of events. Teahupoo and Surf Lakes have not been included in the calendar.

The Pipeline Pro Hawaii has a 13-day waiting period and kicks off on February 24, on the North Shore of Oahu.

However, Mike Stewart and his team will only have one day to run the show and crown a champion.

The 4-Star competition is part of the Qualifying Event Series Tour (QEST), which means it is open to 48 elite and non-elite riders.

The 2019 APB World Tour will then fly to South America for a single event in Brazil (Itacoatiara), and three stages in Chile (Antofagasta, Iquique, and Arica).

A Stop in Morocco

In August, the world's best bodyboarders will battle it out in Kiama, on the south coast of New South Wales, in another World Grand Slam Series (WGS) event.

The contest will have Shark Island and Mystics as backup venues, in case the swell doesn't pick up. But it can't get worse than last year.

The 2019 APB World Tour wraps up, as always, in Europe.

Sintra Pro Portugal, the world's longest-running professional bodyboarding event, will feature all four divisions: men, women, drop knee, and pro junior.

The bodyboarding battles continue in Viana, and the female crew will then take a plane to Morocco to test their skills in the African continent.

The APB organizers have confirmed Nazaré, and are still trying to get Gran Canaria's El Frontón into the equation, after last year's rupture with the local event promoters.
